Brian, I really enjoyed the article. I plan to use it as a reference in my post tomorrow as CSI/Season 2 launches a discussion this week of client service and leadership. Great work, thanks!

My personal diet is similar but in a different order:

1. Music
2. Google News/Wiki News/YouTube etc
3. Blogs
4. Facebook/Hotmail

Very little TV, some movies, a few magazines.

Cheers

It depends. If your domain is easy to say and spell like it should be, then it is not so important to capitalize names, because it doesn't look good. I like the aesthetic of advicefromthetop more than with caps.

On the other hand, if you have a hard to say name, then maybe you should capitalize the individual words to help people parse it out.

Same goes if it is your brand identity- ZAAZ tends to be all caps or ZaaZ, so they may want to be www.ZaaZ.com for the sake of staying with the brand.

Do you recommend capitalizing the first letter in each 'word' of a domain name so that it is easy to read and recognize? For example, yours could be AdviceFromTheTop.com.

Wendy,
Read http://www.conversationmarketing.com/2007/10/google_pagerank_madeup_mayhem.htm and then give me a call.

Google Analytics is the best tool out there for the small-medium sized company.
