yeah, but how many comments?
Seth, I do believe you have turned off comments. Too popular. Oh schucks.
Brian & Seth,
The sentence was very relevant to some things that have been floating around in my head lately. Running a business is quite interesting and I often find that interacting with employees varies depending on this very topic. If you show up, on time… and are in a good mood, it makes such a different in how people interact with you.
Finding positive people (that can figure out how to do something) is so much harder (and more important) than finding semi-negative/positive people who think they know more than they do.
Robby,
I appreciate that Seth can say the right thing at the right time to help you understand where you are at.
Maybe it is his reputation for saying as little as possible that makes it so one sentence is enough.
There is Seth, and then there is the Seth in our heads, and the result is that people (including myself) read his books and listen to what he says. Good on ya, Seth.
We recently hired a database manager. The distinguishing factor in her favor was her readiness to smile. Not kidding!
We can train the details but we cannot change the disposition. And we choose to smile a lot!
who said its anything about business at all ?? ever seen your date with a long face ?? its sucks.. big time..
its just plain old common sense.. and if there are 3 peoples who need to trackack to such thoughts, then the world may become a little happier !!
all in all..its no biggie..
Ok, I had to say it…there are 4 trackbacks to that post…
…
Does a trackback talking about the other trackbacks really count as a trackback? I think not.
